WOW – what an awesome gift. We all knew that Gary and Missy will have the most awesome photos in the history of the world… I love the video you put together for them.
I have never personally met Gary or MIssy (or any of you amazing, inspiring, famous, globetrotting photographers) but I am so happy for them.
I love it when a photograph captures the emotion of the day and those pictures of Gary when he is seeing Missy walk down the aisle are just priceless. I just love it when a man is not afraid to show his emotions. He obviously has a lot of love for her!
Thanks so much for sharing. I have been anxiously perusing blogs today waiting for some pictures of the wedding. These are the first images I have seen! Thanks again!

Dane – Why not let photographers photograph and videographers video? Putting this up on the web is an insult to the talented people at Elysium.
In your heart, don’t you think so too?
September 3rd, 2007 at 9:47 pm
I sure hope not!! I love Elysium! Did you see what I said about them on my blog? In fact, they are dear friends and I’m working on a project with them right now :)!! I’ll be sure to ask them in person when we meet on Wednesday.
In my opinion though, these things just aren’t even comparable.
They are the pro’s. I’m just telling stories as I see them that I hope help, inspire and simplify. And really, what I created was mostly a gift for my friends, Gary and Melissa … and to those who love them from afar.
As a side note, this was my 75th episode of the photo minute and you’re the first person to suggest that my video work is insulting. To see that written on my public comments felt like you were trying to be hurtful. Were you? You’re certainly welcome to not like what I create for others but to make an accusation that in my heart I was trying to insult my friends seems like bad form.
Of course, if you think I’ve done something wrong, feel free to contact me anytime by email and if I have, I’m always eager to make things right. But to just assert something like this seems off to me. I don’t know, what do the rest of you guys think?
All this said, I feel affirmed that you’d consider my efforts as somehow worthy of being in the same sentence as what Elysium creates. For that I’m grateful :).
Peace.

This is great Dane!
Your such a genuine guy and that is a great inspiration to me and others. Can’t wait for the simple photo minute! Take care.

T-Hawkk…with all due respect, Dane captured these private moments as a very dear friend and they are cherished and viewed as a gift. To say that these memories that he captured could be insulting in any way is quite frankly, insulting. How could you capture the most cherished moments in your friend’s life but not share it with those friends? For you to suggest that Dane’s video talent equals that of Elysium is quite nice of you, but I assure you, his intention was not to attempt to outdo the actual videographer and in case you didn’t notice, there were roughly 20 photographers who have all captured and have shared the same photographs as the actual photographer. Yet, not one harsh feeling exists. So, why you chose to single out Dane for his video is a bit confusing. With all due respect, your comment is out of line.

I LOVE THIS VIDEO!!! I saw it during the wedding week, but I don’t think I knew it was on your “cribs” section. That is funny.
Dane you are the sweetest guy around! Seriously, when I see you I know I am going to just feel better because you bring the best out of everyone! Thanks for doing this video….(I am super late to comment I see that) …. but you really are the best and this video is really cute. (what a messy house we had that week LOL)
…. oh and T-Hawkk ….. get a life!!!
