I have not the foggiest idea how or why. But spam arrest has taken over my e mails and refuses to get out of my computor

Whom can I contact to complaim and get something done about this. I have tried their op out and seems to do nothing.

As a follow up to this, I’ve been so impressed with Google spam protection for such a cheap price (free), I think that’s a better solution for most.

I used to think Spam Arrest was a great service, but they have now discontinued their technical support line and are making it impossible to get any real assistance. Their FAQ’s are absurdly simple-minded, and they don’t allow for the possibility that anything could ever go wrong with their system. The company has grown too big, has become arrogant, and will suffer the consequences.

I’m still new to SpamArrest, but it’s such a great way of life to wake up each day in a SPAM-free email zone that I don’t think I could live without it. I find it easy enough to go clean out the Unverified folder a few times a week – no big deal to maintain it (it’s no different than dealing with a junk mail folder really).

I’m finding the combination of GMail and SpamArrest to be the email solution I’ve been wanting for many years.

Still spam-free.

I received an email yesterday telling me that Spam Arrest was going to start enforcing their “terms of service” which charges you for unverified email above a stated quantity. They then charge you based on a per hundred formula. Bottom line… if they had charged me for last month, the charge would have been about $110 for the month.

Sorry… but the service isn’t worth $110/month. Also, the system has been acting weird lately… delivering emails days later and apparently crashing when I go to send emails.

I will be spending my money elsewhere once the terms of service are enforced.

I had been a loyal and paying customer of Spamarrest for some time, recently their service has been erratic and I lost a number of important messages. After not receiving adequate support I decided to cancel my recently renewed account and asked for a refund of the unused portion. Here is their response:
Hi David,

Thanks once again.

David, I am very sorry to tell you that we are not able to offer you a refund for your account. You may continue to use your Spam Arrest account till 2008-10-01 by reactivating the account.

I truly apologize for your inconvenience, David. Please do let me know if you need anything else.
