Been around the block?
- January 10th, 2008
60,000 edited words to make a book. 28 days to make a habit. 100,000 shutters to make a professional.
Each milestone requires one word, one effort, one click … one.
When I think about my commitments to myself this year, I’m finding that I want to slack and not get it done … like going for a run right now or making a significant blog post. I don’t want to do it. But then I think the road from here to where I want to go is just one proverbial run around the block.
So, I’m going. There’s plenty of grace if I don’t or if you don’t but imagine if we go anyway …
What one thing will you choose to do to get you closer to where you want to be?
Keep it simple.

Dane, I love you. Everything that you stand for and strive to be in your life and for others is a huge inspiration to me. I love your humility and your willingness to give to others in a way that puts the success of others before yourself. It baffles me to think that there are other people receiving greater recognition for lesser things, but I know that it is because of your humility and giving nature that the other people you come into contact with in your life are so successful. I really hope that we’ll have a chance to share inspirations and dreams over coffee one of these days. Thanks for being you.
