Cut Frame TV Upgrade
- May 14th, 2008
The Cut Frame TV community have been so patient waiting for this upgrade. Thank you guys for your loyalty and grace!
Last night we finished the new Cut Frame TV install over two servers to give a massive bump in upload and playback speed. We also re-wrote the embed code to be cleaner and more reliable. If you had older videos that didn’t seem to work, they are all fixed as is the uploader for your future videos. We fixed the converter and thumbnail creation issue as well (even the old videos with bad thumbs were manually adjusted … the team went through every one of them!). Finally, if you’ve had problems logging in, that should be aok as well. There are more upgrades coming but I’m stoked on how far it’s come!
Thanks especially to Jared at Elevation for taking this beast on.
And, as always, thanks to our underwriters Adobe, Pictage, GFI, pDNA, Fast Track Photographer, B-School, Album Exposure, Shootsac and Kubota Image Tools for making this available to photographers around the world.
We’re all so grateful for you guys!

Dane,
A friend told me about some software that you use to organize wedding information and workflow. He read about it in a blog entry a while back, I believe. I can’t seem to find the entry–could you tell me that name of that?

love the initiative, dane, however a number of vids don’t load at all for me.

Ashley, it’s called ShootQ and they’re great.
Patrick, thanks so much for the feedback. Your email with the two archived videos that got hung up on loading will be fixed. We must have missed a couple. Given the amount that have been uploaded, I’m not totally suprised. We’ll get ‘em all eventually.
What’s great though is new one’s should not have that problem. Sweet!
