Getting shot shooting
- July 22nd, 2008I love shooting… and sometimes it’s even fun to get shot shooting.
I always laugh at how goofy I can look and every time I do I appreciate better what it’s like for all our clients. Why not invite a friend to shoot you shooting to see what it feels like? Or better yet, why not be a model for a day and take it all in. You’ll be surprised what you learn about how to set your clients up to win.
Anyway, here’s what I was up to when David Hessemer caught me live, connecting with Erin and Austin…

Asking my clients to go hide in the woods…

Risking life and limb to get the picture…

Cleaning the sand out of my shoes…

Keep it light.

That “life and limb” photo is making me nervous. Your shoes are awesome — where are those from? Fabulous!

Behind the scenes pictures are some of my favorites! They’re proof that all you experts really do use normal cameras to get your extraordinary shots!

Hey Dane! Long time no see! Man…your pics make me homesick. I can’t believe you are shooting and wearing a lei too. You look like one of the tourists! (were you? are you?) How’s Tami and the team of kids?
hugs and alohas from Louisiana…

Dave, Great work! If you don’t mine me asking, is that an F4 or 2.8 lens that you are shooting Erin and Austin with. If it’s the F4, how much do you shoot with it? What are your three primarily used lens for shooting wedding? I’m in the process of making a decision about going with the F4 or 2.8. Continual success and God’s favor….Charles

Hey Charles, it’s a 2.8 and I shoot with it all the time. Thanks for asking!

Hey Dane… It is good to see not just the pictures that you took, but also the ones that you are on the picture. Great job… and welcome back!!!
