Fast Track Photographer is full of tips, tricks and ideas to get you motivated into looking for your true calling in this business. While Dane gives you great advice on how to jump start your business he is also providing the motivation to get you to act now. After 20 years in photography I found myself getting bogged down with the daily grind, but Fast Track Photographer got my fires of creativity burning again and inspired me to get up, get out and do something different. This is a must read for any photographer who wants to know how things are done in this generation of technology and marketing. It isn’t just about pictures anymore.

Dane. well said. The whole fast track photographer concept really embraces finding out who you are as a photographer. If you are constantly trying to be just like someone else, you lose touch with who you really are in the process. Hope all is well! I will be at WPPI; I would love to meet up sometime during the conference. Take care.

I definitely agree with your answer – always have. Even when I asked.
I’ve been interested in hearing your take on why so many successful photographers do seem to have products and…things out there. I’ve sort of realized that it’s really that they are just the most visible. I know many wonderful, successful photogs who aren’t really out in the public eye, so you don’t know about them. It’s like Christians who are actually followers of Christ in their quiet humility and love for others. The ‘crazies’ are the ones making the news. Ha ha. Maybe that’s a bad example.
More could definitely be said on the topic, but your back-to-the-issue kind of answer is perfect. Thanks so much.

Fast Track Photographer has helped me find out who I am as a photographer. I’ve been a part time photographer for a few years now. Although I love to fly, my passion has always been photography and Fast Track has inspired me to pursue a career change. I plan on being at WPPI as well. See you there!

Hi Dane,
I just finished your book and the pDNA. My results are all over the board, but it just makes me want to work harder. I loved the book and will read it many times over! Thanks!
Also, I hope you don’t mind, but I posted a link in my blog to your website. It’s a photography blog, and I have a photographer of the week post. If you have any problems with it, let me know! Thanks
Joel
