I left my heart in San Francisco
- June 1st, 2009
San Francisco was incredible.
I’m so grateful for the crew that joined forces to make the Fast Track Roadshow a reality. Melinda Bunker, Aung Aung, Joy Bianchi-Brown, Gustavo Fernandez, Andrew & Rachel from ShootQ, ShootdotEdit, Pictage, SmugMug, ShowIt, KISS, and the whole crew of students rallied big time.

It’s easy to overlook how much goes into pulling an event like this off, especially from one city to the next. If it weren’t for the local heroes, they just wouldn’t happen.

From The Big Picture to Declarations we had a blast too. I’m seriously blown away by how much transformation can happen in 2 days. Seeing the twinkle in students eyes as they catch a vision of what’s possible is what truly makes all the hard work worth it.

It costs a lot on the home front too. Tami and my kids really sacrifice a lot to create the opportunity. I don’t ever want to take that for granted. It stokes me out too when students remember them in their feedback and thank you’s. You guys are the best!

Finally, I can’t thank Gene Higa and Ann Hamilton enough. In the midst of some really crazy (and tough) circumstances including a video shoot with Robert Evans and the sad goodbye to @bogiethepug, Ann & Gene basically gave me the perfect environment to do the Roadshow. Thank you both.
Give it.

Thanks Dane, for everything! You totally rock! I’m so glad that I decided to attend your workshop, it’s given me the means to focus on being the CEO of my business, not just a lackey. In the picture you can see that I’m on Twitter! Lol. Here’s to the rest of the Fast Track Roadshows! To all those considering the FT Workshop, go!! Your business will thank you.

Thanks so much for this Dane! I miss you already. What an incredible workshop it was and you taught me so much and touched my heart with all your wisdom and deep thoughts- I was so moved and uplifted from the time spent learning from you…I am still reeling. It was a couple of the best two days of my life! Thank you for coming to SF. Thanks to Tami and the kids for letting you- hope to meet them someday. Anyone reading this and thinking about coming to an upcoming Fast Track workshop should sign up NOW! I agree with Catie 100%- your business will take on a new life after this workshop as will you!

I just attended the Chicago workshop (today and yesterday) and couldn’t wait for your blog post on it to write this.
It really was a transformative experience. You gave me lots of amazing advice on how to operate my business more efficiently. And lots of opportunity for me to really get my head straight on how to be not just a successful business owner, but how to be more successful in the areas of my life that are even more important. Thank you.
