The all-new AskDane video podcast is debuting on January 1st, 2009 a few moments before 4pm PST.
This is to coincide with the already announced Fast Track Coaching - think of it as a LIVE AskDane!
All AskDane episodes will be FREE but to celebrate the launch, we’re going to make the inaugural Fast Track Coaching call FREE as well to give folks a taste of what’s to come.
And if that weren’t enough, Kevin Kubota will be joining me to help answer your questions too. Our hope is to have a surprise guest each week!
The new AskDane.com site will be up and running any moment now so be sure to check it out and rate episodes as they air each Tuesday.
This week’s Fast Track Coaching call can be accessed *HERE*! I can’t wait!!
Happy New Year!

PS… I’m a little late to technorati but I finally claimed my blog there and needed to post my profile (Technorati Profile)… if you’re wanting to help your SEO, you might want to do the same.
If you haven’t heard already, let the celebration (or grieving) begin! Apparently David Jay has left the Freedom Club for good.
Be sure to hit him up with a congrats. I’m seriously so stoked for my friends. What a gift they are to each other.
Here are a few shots from their recent “getaway” … can you believe they hid this from us for so long? Right underneath our noses … very clever you two!
Love you guys.

PS … all pictures by photographer and bridesmaid Jasmine Star.
Las Vegas is always so much fun. Sometimes too much so.
Given all that I had going this year (the workshop, launching the pDNA, speaking for Adobe, Pictage and liveBooks, shooting a video for ShootdotEdit, the parties - Becker’s was my favorite I think despite the power outage) … I decided to walk a little slower, at least metaphorically.
The hope was that I would have a good time at WPPI rather than WPPI having a good time on me. I’m so stoked I made that choice.
There were certainly trade-offs though. I missed out on a couple opportunities to reconnect with new friends. But, I was surprised at how many of those encounters happened more naturally in passing, without the social challenges of loud gatherings. I felt like I was more present in my conversations, making it easier to resist the feeling of having the same conversation a gazillion times in a row. This was a gift to me because I don’t ever want my relationships to feel generic.
I was also given a gift after the fact by so many of you sharing pictures with me that you took. Here are a few …
It was fun to see these more real reflections of my time. Like the weddings we shoot, we can’t capture every moment but the one’s we do can be signature if we make them so … which is how my Vegas experience felt this year … genuine … authentic. I can’t wait for next time.
I thought it would be fun to end this post with Ron Dawson’s final installment of “Diary of a Washed Up Rock Star” which was shown at the awards show on the last night of WPPI. Joe did such an amazing job with all the episodes and I’m glad he forgave me for the slap.
He really does do his own stunts …
Keep it real.

PS … special thanks to Paulo, Jason and the ubiquitous Kenny as well as everyone else who sent images in. Keep ‘em coming if you have more!
