Cribs with Jim and Stephanie Kennedy!
- December 7th, 2006***CLICK HERE*** to see the show!
I’ve been reading through the feedback you guys gave me on how to take the SPM to the next level and a lot of you said you wanted more in depth coverage, especially with things like the cribs episodes.
Well, you asked for it so you got it!
I’m so pumped coming back from visiting with Jim Kennedy and his wife Stephanie … their places were amazing. I dare you to watch them and not come away inspired. Wow.
That said, I did take some liberties with the length of this week’s episode as it goes a “tad” over a “minute” :).
I hope you enjoy the extra footage because Jim and Stephanie really deliver some great stuff. If I were you, I’d pull out a paper and pen. These two really have the goods and this week they’re handing it out like candy. I’d love to hear what you think.
Keep it simple.
Dane
PS … For those of you who’ve been reading “The World is Flat” with me, stay tuned on OSP for what’s coming as soon as it’s back online. So fun!
PPS … A while back we featured our friends over at Photojojo and showed you how to make cool photo blocks … well, just in time for Christmas, they just came out with this cool kit to make it even simpler … check it out by clicking here and please say hi for us if you pick a kit up! Cool!!

Hey guys,
Great job Dane on filling in with a ton more info. Talk to me about the frames and track system! How cool is that? Did they make it or buy it some place? More info on that would be appreciated!

I’ve had a few emails about my floating frames and track system.
The prints are mounted between 2 pieces of plexiglass. Then the plexi is bolted together. I believe most custom frame shops should be able to do this for you. I just told my framer what i was looking for and they were able to so it. Just make sure that the plexi isn’t to think. The clips that hold the plexi on the wall are only so thick.
The cable system was the hardest part of the set up. I knew what I wanted but had a hard time finding the perfect solution. When I did I was so pleased.
Check out this website.

This is where I purchased the complete system. You mount the track at the top of the wall. Then you just insert the cable. You can move them back and forth along the wall. So you can adjust it for any size print. Then if you decide to change things up it’s no problem. No holes in the wall. Just a real cleen look at all times. I love it.
feel free to email me with any questions.

Awesome … I don’t know if we had anything to do with it or not but the griplocksystems.com site was down for a bit this morning. Apparently, Jim’s making them pretty popular. So cool.

wow… what an inspiring episode! I know the whole point of SPM is to be quick and simple, but I LOVED the longer episode - truly inspiring, and so much great information.
Thank you Jim and Stephanie for taking the time to share with all of us. And thank you, Dane, for making it all possible! :)
I love SPM!
