When Robert Evans – world renown celebrity photographer to Tom and Katie, Brad and Jennifer and umpteen other A-Listers – said he wanted to shoot second for me at Lindye and Winn‘s wedding I was blown away.

It’s one thing to shoot along side greats like him, but for Rob to intentionally choose to be in second position was incredible to me. And, the best part was he didn’t do it for my sake. He did it for yours!

Robert is in the process of creating a DVD made specifically for the second shooter and, like all the greats, he wanted to lead by example. Not only was the day a blast, but we got some amazing footage for the DVD that’s due out shortly at PhotographyMentor.com.

Knowing what I know about what is there now and what’s coming, I’d absolutely encourage you to check it out. In the mean time, the video below will give you a sneak peek.

I just shot one of my all time favorite weddings!

Lindye and Winn (and their families and wedding party and …) were just spectacular. It was one of those days that just shows up once in a while. If you didn’t get a chance to be at the wedding in person, check out their reception slideshow below!

I also got to enjoy shooting today with my friend Robert Evans which absolutely raised the value. Can you imagine having Robert as your second shooter? It was insane. What an amazing experience to shoot along side him … total class act. We also got some fun footage for his upcoming DVD specifically for 2nd Shooters. I dare you to check out his stuff over at Photographer Mentor. He’s hitting it out of the park over there. And, stay tuned for his DVD.
